The process of the mural portion of the project on the first stairwell was that involved ensuring the permanence of the install to make sure the history of Lafayette is accessible and visible in the walls of the school. The mural side of the instal was a mix of direct painting onto the wall and wheat-pasting to give students classroom time to approach each element time, care and detail. Both mural class and AP Photography students made this project possible.
