Mural

Moving up the stairway, you will find different generations of Lafayette community all surrounded by music notes, given the prominence of the Merit orchestra program in the last 13 years of the school. This portion includes a depiction of Mr. Weible – Lafayette’s orchestra director and a central community member and educator at Lafayette created by Marzeillin Morillo (ChiArts Class of 2025). This part of the mural was brought to life by the student artists Crystal Clemente, Devyn Wise, Madison Cervantes, Tegan Murphy, Nico Drummond and Zadie Beaty – each of them creating one-two people.
