As Rousemary and Jesus were at the forefront of the organizing happening in 2013 with families and the school community, their visibility in articles and images was well documented. Their dedication to the community and attempting to prevent the closure of the school should not only be never forgotten, but honored through this archive/Lafayette History and as seen in the depiction of Rousemary in the mural.
